All right? Megan welcome to the world remedies podcast I'm really delighted. Yeah I'm so delighted to chat with you today and from the 5 seconds we've already been chatting I'm just like I love you already.

00:02.62
Meghan
Thank you for having me. Thank you for having me krista.

00:14.21
Meghan
I Love when that happens.

00:16.80
wildremedies
Me too actually question. Do do you know your astrology by any chance Hey you're a scorpion. Okay, do you know like you rise hear your moon at all. Okay.

00:22.76
Meghan
I Know it loose astrology I'm a scorpio I am a scorpio I don't I got more into human design I've been thinking about getting my chart read written whatever it is. But yes.

00:34.84
wildremedies
okay okay yeah okay I think I'm going to start asking guests this more like at the beginning there's another podcast that I follow where she does it first thing she asked. She's like what's your sun moon and your rising and I love it because it kind of sets the tone if you do know your signs. It's like oh okay, it just. Gives people who know a little bit more information about that person on on a different level which I think is cool. So we have a scorp yeah, lots of transformation so that I think is something that's going to come in as a theme in this podcast. You mentioned that you're making some.

01:11.24
Meghan
It's so massive changes. Yeah, it's in alignment with which I do know the the clips in Scorpio or whatever just happened.

01:14.14
wildremedies
Really big changes in your life right now Massive mass of.

01:23.50
wildremedies
Oh yeah, big time.

01:26.89
Meghan
And I was like oh this is in my cellular makeup right now. That's why this is happening right now and I can give you a real brief background that I've been um.

01:34.89
wildremedies
Um, yeah.

01:38.98
Meghan
Working as a sort of quote nutritionist for 15 years so I was kind of early into the field when like back in 2008 when it was all about like raw food which obviously did not last because everyone got sick eating just hear. It's um, but ah so I've been through it and I've been running my business.

01:49.17
wildremedies
Yeah.

01:57.62
Meghan
In that time and I've had wonderful growth. Um, and then just started thinking about like what do I want to do now like we've all been through a lot of change especially in the last three years in alignment in.

02:08.91
wildremedies
Hey.

02:13.21
Meghan
Who we want to work with and how we want to work and how we're able to and want to show up in the world and it was just starting to feel like I was trying to be who I was ten years ago in selling what I do with the academy of culinary nutrition which remains fully relevant fully functional. But.

02:25.80
wildremedies
And.

02:31.42
Meghan
Was one of those moments where I was like I wasn't feeling well I had a cold and I was in the bath on a Wednesday morning which is always interesting as an entrepreneur when you find yourself in the bath at nine thirty on a Wednesday yeah, and I'm like I have such a cold I feel horrible and my husband's like just.

02:42.61
wildremedies
Um, I know those days I'm always having a mental break. Yeah.

02:51.20
Meghan
Locks today. Go watch like a movie and I'm like when have I ever watched a movie during the day on a weekday. Let alone you know and I have a child so um instead I texted my operations director being like I can't do this anymore. We're done and then proceeded to.

02:58.36
wildremedies
Um.

03:08.77
Meghan
Break the news to my entire team that day so not watching a comedy and instead kind of it was like 1 of those moments where you're like we could go this way or we can go that way and this is the way everyone's expecting and this is the way you've envisioned and this and I'm just like shh. Like the quick turn off the freeway at the last second onto the like oh what's shiny over there. Let's go there and I just did it and so yeah, there's been a lot of change.

03:34.17
wildremedies
I Love it. Ah oh my God That's so much and did this literally just happen.

03:37.56
Meghan
It happened as we're speaking Tuesday it happened thirteen days ago yeah so yeah, and it's been a wild experience going through everything because as entrepreneur.

03:43.54
wildremedies
Yeah, so literally during eclipse season. Yeah.

03:57.45
Meghan
Like what we do isn't just like our day job and we shut the computer at the end of the day. It's our identity. It's the teams we build are some of our most sacred relationships those who give us their money and their time and invest in what we offer like they're deeply valued in our lives and. Basically what I realized was that all the things I was saying yes to were not for me but were for my team which I built and support and love dearly. You know as individuals as as the you know we just celebrated our one year anniversary as a complete team and then.

04:22.70
wildremedies
He.

04:32.14
wildremedies
Me.

04:36.18
Meghan
Like all the people who'd already enrolled in what I was offering that I was like I have to refund everybody and like I have to watch those hundreds of thousands of dollars be drawn out of my bank account and all like all of those things. But.

04:39.86
wildremedies
Wow.

04:50.48
Meghan
So there's like grief and there's regret and like why didn't I do the sooner or why didn't I do it this way and maybe it could have worked differently and all these things but it all came down to the same thing which was that I want to start creating differently and create new and different things and so there's grief and there's loss. But then there's so much. Creativity and hope and excitement and really good sleeps like it's been a really wild two weeks

05:18.55
wildremedies
Oh girl I I'm just I'm grinning ear to ear right now because I'm going through something so similar. So so so similar I have scorpal placements as well For me, it's in my north node which is the destiny right? What I'm supposed to do in in this world.

05:32.60
Meghan
Get.

05:37.94
wildremedies
And everything kind of started. Well I'm going to say falling apart but it's kind of falling apart and coming back together in a very beautiful way. But it's it's been happening to me since March but through this eclipse portal. It's just been.

05:48.10
Meghan
60% since that students.

05:54.54
wildremedies
So so intense, but it's just like magical like the stuff that's being birthed right now and the transformation that I'm witnessing. It's like everything is being rearranged in my life especially in business to take me from a place that was.

05:54.96
Meghan
So yeah, let's.

06:13.94
wildremedies
Not as empowering into a place that is more empowering and that allows me to operate in my gifts more and I feel like all the things that I was struggling with and felt that were really zapping my energy and just you know areas that I was playing that were not in my zone of Genius The universe is just like nab bitch. You're done with that.

06:18.54
Meghan
Yeah.

06:32.57
Meghan
Yeah, yeah.

06:32.73
wildremedies
Like we got to put you over here now and there's gonna be some death. There's gonna be some chaos but this is for this is for the better and you're gonna be in a much better place and just letting it unfold. It's been difficult but it's just like so humbling.

06:48.25
Meghan
Like So yeah I mean I'm seeing so many specifically women maybe just because I know women better than I know a lot of men. But so many women letting go of things in their businesses and I think for you know we've already gone woooo. So I know where you're at you know where I'm at um.

06:58.25
wildremedies
In.

07:07.14
Meghan
Like if we look at like what the projections were for this time of humanity. It's like ultimate ascension and so the way I see it is. We're just like letting go of the weights and as long as you can stomach the roller coaster that's coming. We're all going to end up.

07:22.75
wildremedies
Yeah.

07:27.10
Meghan
Well, you don't end up but you you keep going and it's just recognizing like what's real what you want because we can you know we can live in whatever reality we create for ourselves in our own minds as we've seen because everyone was living in their own unique reality for the last while. Um and so.

07:41.81
wildremedies
Yeah.

07:47.20
Meghan
It's interesting when you you know I have been very consistent in what I do and how I operate and to let go of that. It's suddenly like I had a similar experience in 2006 so I had. Graduate from university in 2003 I got fully vaccinated to go backpack in Africa which was when I discovered the realities of what they can do in the body because I ended up with an autoimmune diagnosis and went through this whole journey then of trying to heal.

08:14.43
wildremedies
In No no.

08:22.37
Meghan
And suddenly again at that point it was like I could you know this was the way I was climbing the corporate ladder working for ad agencies or I could go back and study holistic nutrition and meditation and yoga and do that and it was the most. Beautiful and profound and challenging transition I'd made in my life to that point and this time when I did it I was like I know this is the hard part like right here. This is the really hard part that's full of doubt and like you know, being up at 3 in the morning like I was like. Is this a panic attack is this a hot flash I don't know I was like I can be uncomfortable and feel sick about this for as long as I decide to or I plant my feet firmly and move forward from this decision and.

09:03.11
wildremedies
Ah, am I dying.

09:17.82
Meghan
Having been through it a couple times I now know and trust that like the muck like you're in the tunnel. It's just part of the rebirth and growth process and I know that I mean you can choose to be in as long as you want and I was like I don't want to be in this for another month.

09:24.66
wildremedies
A.

09:37.70
Meghan
Like I don't want to be in this familiar second. So let's not look back at the what ifs or I could have or should I or have I'd done this I'd done this four years ago should I have no let's move forward and it's just like just keeps coming off my shoulders. It does.

09:53.63
wildremedies
Ah, doesn't it feel amazing. Ah, and the universe rewards such big courage right? and stepping into alignment and your soul's desires and.

09:57.70
Meghan
Does? Yeah, thanks so much. Yeah into and yeah and I have to say because there is a practical aspect to this like it wasn't just like a flippant decision to cut off a program that.

10:10.14
wildremedies
Yeah.

10:17.14
Meghan
Consistently earns a million or more every year it it was like years of planning for early retirement which I was set up to do at 40 I'm turning 44 this year so there obviously is a practical aspect that I didn't just like throw a bomb into something and now I'm like. You know, have to go pick up any old job to continue living how I live it's it like no this was planned and and calculated to some degree I just hadn't planned the abruptness as it were.

10:47.38
wildremedies
Yeah, totally I'm curious so that you said back in was it 2006 that you had a big transform. How old were you at that time.

10:55.52
Meghan
6 I was 26 I turned 27 in amongst it all. Yeah, so yeah.

11:04.20
wildremedies
Yeah, so you're around your saturn return I'm experiencing the same thing as well because what's currently happening for me in the process that I'm having to go through is a very similar process that I had to do around the age of 28 and that was. I remember vividly how challenging it was. You know I had an ad agency at the time. Um and I had accepted a job in Malaysia to work for this company called mineval it was like this big you know marketing company and. A bunch of like really dramatic things just kept happening like I had this really crazy client that tried to sue me and I had a business partner at the time that was kind of unhinged and she ran off to Nicaragua and I was left dealing with all of this shit and at that time I didn't have tools or really coping mechanism so you know I was. Drinking a lot and sobbing on the bathroom floor and being like oh my god my life is over. This is so horrible indedahdahdahda like no connection really to source at the time or having a lot of trust and the process and you know everything ended up working out amazing. You know I ended up. Shedding a lot of things in that life that I led before I sold everything I moved overseas and everything was fine and so I think back to that time and I'm just like oh you know thank god I went through that experience because what I'm going through right now even though it's uncomfortable I know what's on the other side i.

12:27.57
Meghan
Yeah.

12:34.92
wildremedies
It didn't kill me, you know, but it is hard like you still have those feelings of like grief coming up like we identify so much with so much of our businesses and you've been working and caring like for me. That's my baby right? like my products all of these things. These are like my children and when you think that. They're dying or whatever and you know that's not necessarily what's happening but it it can feel like it at the time it just it brings up a lot of shit so having tools is great like what what have you done during this process to like support yourself.

13:02.95
Meghan
Yeah.

13:11.65
Meghan
Well, it's been interesting because it started I mean it started a while ago. It started with um my parents spend the winter um in California and I snuck out early to go visit them. Um and had a week.

13:23.96
wildremedies
And.

13:27.78
Meghan
By myself with just my mum and dad which I haven't done I don't know in 55 years I don't know um and normally when I go away in any capacity. Even it's like a long weekend at the cottage I come back like super inspired really wanting to try new things and get creative and.

13:41.97
wildremedies
In.

13:47.10
Meghan
And build new things in my business and I came back from that week and I booked myself into a full day weaving workshop and I was just like oh no I'm in trouble because like we were about to launch enrollment for like our primary offering and then we did launch the enrollment and it didn't.

13:52.22
wildremedies
Okay.

14:01.68
wildremedies
A.

14:06.89
Meghan
Go How we'd hoped and I was like hustling and telling people and strategizing and then I looked at what was in my workload for the week and then the month coming and I'm like there is nothing that I'm I've been assigned to do in my company.

14:23.78
wildremedies
In.

14:24.54
Meghan
I want to do so it didn't take a lot of work to navigate through the decision. It was more my recognizing that I was no longer working for my own benefit. It was. Because I care so much about the people that were part of my team that were giving their energy throughout the day to build something that was ultimately my dream and when I realized that you know as an entrepreneur as the Ceo of this corporation and with like a notebook full.

14:50.97
wildremedies
And he.

15:02.46
Meghan
Of strategies for a Ceo to scale a company none of which I'd implemented because I didn't want to do that kind of work I was like this is the wrong path like it was so clear and what was interesting is that in the year

15:10.43
wildremedies
Here.

15:18.10
wildremedies
Um, a.

15:22.00
Meghan
I denounced my retirement in March Twenty Twenty two and I had an amazing team that I'd built up for this last year thinking maybe I would pass it on to them and let them just operate it without me and in the process of being like no one can quit I can't let anyone quit I created a company that like.

15:23.45
wildremedies
Okay.

15:41.45
Meghan
Had Fridays off and we did crafter noons with like macrame classes. We had a breathwork session. We had elixir chats like like I would I was sending my team gifts like not gifts like animated but like like presents twice a year like we were doing. It was so. Fun and in the process it became such a joyful place to work that I'm like oh let's keep this going like this is awesome. But the reality was that what I had to do each day I was not inspired by and didn't enjoy and didn't and I felt like ultimately I felt like I was feeding the beast the enemy of.

16:18.79
wildremedies
Man and everything.

16:19.52
Meghan
Meta Facebook and Instagram and Google and having to pay for ads and pay for all that stuff and then I was just like I have no intention of ever selling this company because my face and my likeness and my videos are all over it. So that's not going in someone else's hand so what? exactly am I building this for because I'm not publishing. Revenue my e like my ego is not part of it. Um, so yeah, the hardest thing was really like adjusting to the sadness of my team and recognizing how much they love me and what we do and the support of people who've been through my work and mostly though it's just been.

16:51.96
wildremedies
Um, and.

16:57.72
Meghan
Like so loving and supportive and what I've actually found surprising is I published an announcement on Instagram and then and also first an email because you don't announce these things by Instagram to people you care about? Um, but.

17:00.34
wildremedies
Um, yeah.

17:16.90
Meghan
There were so many people being like what are you doing next and are you okay and I'm like I'm great. There is no crisis. It's quite the opposite. Why wait for the crisis because I knew it was going to come if I kept going that way and so yet it hasn't.

17:21.74
wildremedies
Yep.

17:27.60
wildremedies
Is.

17:31.87
Meghan
Actually been that hard. Maybe the tools are just 15 years of experience running a business and knowing that things get hard and then they get easy and then they get hard and they get easy and you can make choices and decide your way through and how you want to respond to what comes up.

17:43.28
wildremedies
Yeah I Love that and I love that you're receiving so much support I'm also finding that too like I've been absolutely blown away by my community through. Process that I'm still going through. There's still like some uncertainty some things being worked out and whatever. But it's just been like Wow So so Humbling. So I mean then it sounds like you've brought so many beautiful things to the world for people like.

18:09.58
Meghan
Yeah.

18:17.33
Meghan
I Like to think I like to think I have me.

18:19.55
wildremedies
Let's talk. Yeah,, let's let's talk about that like I'm actually really curious about your creative process and you know creating the undite cookbook and the undite Lake. Are those things that you still subscribe to or are these pieces of work kind of from your past and you've kind of like shifted your thoughts around diet and stuff.

18:41.76
Meghan
It's I mean I still stand behind just about everything that's in both of these books and that's in the culinary nutrition expert program which is our flagship and we are reworking things to just make them lighter. Um.

18:46.72
wildremedies
Caught.

18:54.78
wildremedies
Hit me.

18:58.90
Meghan
Less overhead to operate so they still add tremendous value for people's lives they still serve a lot as like a gateway to awareness and awakening. Um that.

19:09.78
wildremedies
E.

19:13.28
Meghan
1 of the core things I teach from the beginning is to question confirmation bias and how to challenge paradigms that are widely accepted how to read headlines versus actual studies. Um, and so that's a guiding principle that I think is. Becomes more and more critical as biases are ever present um writing those books changed my life. The process of taking on such a massive project that you cannot edit and change once. It's printed um and diet came out ten years ago. Um.

19:43.75
wildremedies
In.

19:50.60
Meghan
And what's interesting is that the the publisher that publish it got acquired and I was able to get the rights reverted they weren't going to reprint a cookbook and I went through the process last fall of like I'm going to re. I'm going to do a new edition I'm going to change a name I'm going to put this out there and I started reading through it and I'm like I can't get excited about what's in here like it's basic nutrition information that at this point just read the book and do it like I don't want to have to inspire someone to.

20:14.20
wildremedies
In it.

20:17.86
Meghan
Be adequately hydrated or explain the role cholesterol has in the body or why you should eat dinner at a table instead of a sofa or a dashboard um like so it's really fundamental the pillars of Health will never change that you need to. Sleep Well drink, clean water, eat organic food which I used to tiptoe around but the fact is that that is what human beings were intended to eat food that is grown without man-made chemicals. Um that you need to ah choose your relationships.

20:50.30
wildremedies
Yep.

20:56.62
Meghan
Wisely and nurture those relationships find joy in your life and laugh choose your work wisely because you spend most of your waking hours doing it or thinking about it that does not change that will never change and the cooking.

21:09.27
wildremedies
And.

21:11.97
Meghan
That I teach through the academy of culinary nutrition I've loads of courses like our main course instant access courses on herbal medicine on fermentation. It's all there that doesn't change either like the reality Of. Taking on responsibility for personal health and empowering yourself to know how to best Nourish yourself your family your friends that's everlasting and what I teach is from scratch cooking so where the majority of.

21:32.50
wildremedies
E.

21:38.81
Meghan
Your ingredients are processed in your own kitchen meaning that you don't buy nut milk. You buy nuts and you make nut milk if you want to eat nut milk. The 1 thing were I to redo the program which I still may do is that it was heavily plant based before.

21:46.94
wildremedies
Um, in.

21:53.85
wildremedies
His.

21:56.75
Meghan
Base kind of carried the same connotations it does today. Um, it was more that it was the idea that most people who eat meat don't need help eating more meat. It's like how do we get more vegetable variety more from scratch creative uses of vegetables and nuts and seeds and beans and lentils and those kinds of things into the diet.

22:00.99
wildremedies
Nope.

22:16.46
Meghan
So everything has like a paleo version or a vegan version. It's always been inclusive of everyone's personal dietary philosophies and values and I remain that way I have my own way of eating. Um so I stand behind all of it and it's been a beautiful process and.

22:16.85
wildremedies
Um, you.

22:29.76
wildremedies
He.

22:34.84
Meghan
I Think the value of the experience people have going through my work and and taking it in is the exact experience I had in creating all of it which is that it was healing. It was joyful. It was challenging and it transformed me in the same way. It transforms those who go through it.

22:53.68
wildremedies
Um I love that yeah I took a quick look at the cookbook and it looks like really amazing recipes and I love that idea of teaching people to make your own nut milk. And went through a process several years ago where I also equated health to no meat so it was vegetarian for maybe 7 years something like that I still ate eggs and dairy. Um, and had some fish from from time to time. Um, I mean I eat meat now again, but at the time I'm actually really grateful for that because it taught me to create stuff from scratch like exactly what what you said and I think it's so important for.

23:39.15
Meghan
Um, a.

23:41.60
wildremedies
People to have more of a connection to their food in that way. It can get I found over time though it was like oh man like this is a lot I'm spending a lot of time in the kitchen and so it can be difficult and now I kind of rely on just like really simple stuff.

23:56.00
Meghan
Yeah.

23:57.92
wildremedies
For a while I Just love the creativity of it and like making really cool elaborate. You know, salads and incorporating the beans and all these things that I didn't really touch prior to shifting my nutrition in in that way. But I think there's yeah, it's It's such such valuable potent information. For people and it can just be such a beautiful fun creative thing too. Yeah yeah.

24:19.30
Meghan
Yeah, it's really fun which is what drew me to it in the first place and I mean I had been on a predominantly plant-based diet for a long time and then it until it stopped supporting my health I'd also experimented with like going raw for a summer and that didn't work out so well and I think that.

24:33.97
wildremedies
Yeah, since.

24:38.64
Meghan
It's interesting is most of most of our closest friends are from the nutrition world. We've all kind of landed at the same place in how we eat. Um.

24:44.21
wildremedies
Yeah, I'm literally hearing it across the board from everybody now like I thought Vegan was the way to go I did it for you know some people up to like a decade and then their thyroid starts failing or I mean.

24:50.37
Meghan
Here.

25:01.70
Meghan
Yeah, then I guess.

25:04.11
wildremedies
I keep recounting this event that I went to last year it was a a vegan festival in Vancouver and we had a booth there for our our product side of the company and the people coming up to my booth I was just like oh my goodness. Oh my goodness like. The rashes like the bold spots on their heads and I was just like oh man like this this I can physically see that people are very unwell and you know so many people have gone public now that were adamant and like very vocal about being vegan.

25:38.40
Meghan
Yeah.

25:43.60
wildremedies
Are just like I just I had to start eating meat because literally like I just I couldn't function anymore. My fucking hair was falling out like it's it's wild and I get it like I was very much one of those people too where I was like.

25:43.82
Meghan
Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

25:56.17
wildremedies
We need to do this to save the planet and all of these things because there were these documentaries that were coming out and fucking Leo Dicaprio and you know all of the things and when you're young too, especially like in your twenty s it's like yeah you have you you want to be that social justice warrior in a sense but it's like.

26:03.67
Meghan
Yeah.

26:09.10
Meghan
Well, we've all seen what happens when ideology comes before biology and we think that following a paradigm makes you a quote good person and it does not work and.

26:13.72
wildremedies
Um, nope.

26:19.74
wildremedies
Good purse up.

26:26.13
Meghan
The most harmful thing to the planet is a human being at a balance and you like if if our diets were never meant to evolve. We'd still all be breastfeeding and like part of what I've seen like I have a child so I've gone through.

26:29.70
wildremedies
He.

Prenatal Postnatal post- postnatal which no one talks about which is like when you're child's 2 and you're absolutely exhausted because you haven't you've been on vigilance for years that you are not accustomed to I'm now as I said I'm going to be 44 this year and my goal and 1 of the the. Motivators for hitting pauses on things and trying to rethink how I was doing them was I was working too much like I wear these glasses because when I'm on Zoom I was getting aura migraines after when I went to a neurological optometist try and fix this. He's like you just need to relax more.

27:13.56
wildremedies
A.

27:19.26
wildremedies
Anything.

27:20.99
Meghan
Like it's just like your nervous system like smoking after like just fried and I was like if I continue on this path where am I in a year and five years and 10 years and I'm like I am going to train for menopause like that's my new goal like to go into this next.

27:36.19
wildremedies
Nice, yeah.

27:37.98
Meghan
Hormonal shift or this wave and from being like my friend Dr Michelle Paris calls like this phase of life being the enchantress. Um, how do I want to go through this phase of life. And it's like I want my health and vitality I want to be energized when I come home when I pick my son up from school and that requires optimal health requires constant. Adjustment to how you eat and how you exercise and and the herbs you take and the supplements you take and and all of that and so that you know you should never have your dietary philosophy tattooed into your arm because it will change and like it's to stay open.

28:14.93
wildremedies
Um, or any philosophy really right in in.

28:23.70
Meghan
Optimally and soon as you know if you look at cancel culture as soon as someone attempts to cancel without a conversation. You have nothing to fear anymore because there's no, there's no debate there. It's just like it's like ah it's the equivalent of a tantrum.

28:33.83
wildremedies
Yep. No yes, very much. So yeah.

28:43.29
Meghan
And that's what happens if you stick too strongly to a philosophy.

28:48.53
wildremedies
Totally yeah I know it's really hard to reason with people that have such strict ideologies right? like I noticed you posted about natural immunity and um that you had.

29:02.45
Meghan
You noticed that huh.

29:05.75
wildremedies
Yeah I So I saw that you tested for it earlier on in the pandemic which I did too which was really kind of cool and it's kind of it's coming full circle right now. Um, it's one of our team members her cousin was just recently part of the citizens inquiry that's happening now.

29:22.25
Meghan
Who.

29:24.93
wildremedies
Ah, wide where people are giving testimonies in terms of you know, being unjustly fired from their jobs being forced into you know vaccination all these things through through covid and one of the doctors. That was testifying as Dr Stephen Pellockck who is also part of the Canadian Covid Care Alliance which I've was supporting throughout this this whole thing and I actually went to his lab in Vancouver because it was kind of during I don't know if it was Twenty Twenty or 2021 but where the fear was just still like so. So heavy and I was just like no like I believe in natural immunity and I just want to go I want to go somewhere where I feel safe where I can get a test to prove that I have it and so they were I don't even remember how I got introduced to his lab but we like. Couple of friends and I went to like the straight up fucking science lab in some weird place in Vancouver and had her blood drawn. There was beakers and stuff everywhere and they did the test and they're like yeah high probability that you've already had it and they knew that because of like January Twenty Twenty I got sick while I was traveling. Had a shitty cough and whatever felt like garbage for a couple of weeks and I was like that that was it I had it and I didn't want to gett the jab but I wanted to have something to be like to to put you know, maybe my parents' mind at rest or all of the people that were like hounding me to get this thing and I was.

30:41.90
Meghan
Yeah.

30:55.16
wildremedies
And so it was it was interesting. What what was your experience like did you did you also find a lab or something to do this for you because nobody was doing it like doctors were just like no fuck you just that job.

31:05.62
Meghan
I I had an interesting experience I was trying to I'm trying to remember how it came about it was just like the Underground Network Grew super fast and super strong and I think I was actually trying to find it for a family member.

31:16.38
wildremedies
Um, yeah.

31:23.24
Meghan
Who was going traveling to see if it could be a way for them to travel. Um, and then this family member decided they didn't want to do this test and so then my husband and I just were like we get another one and we'll be part of it. We'll do it and that was kind of how I I feel like our test was done.

31:27.43
wildremedies
Right.

31:43.70
Meghan
It was around October Twenty Twenty one that we did it? Um, what was interesting for me and we just kind of like kept it in our back pocket and we'd actually used it to enter anywhere. We wanted to enter like the whole thing was a charade and like.

31:45.00
wildremedies
Okay.

31:58.91
wildremedies
Um, yeah.

31:59.90
Meghan
No nineteen year old hostess at a restaurant wanted the job of dealing with grownups who had a whole bunch of lab documentation to enter their establishment like that was that was just the reality of it. What was really funny though was um I.

32:04.70
wildremedies
Um, yeah.

32:08.59
wildremedies
A.

32:19.20
Meghan
Did get it ish. Whatever it was full on in January Twenty Twenty two and I got really sick and I went I was like let's my and my husband had it too and I was like let's go get 1 of those like official tests those documents that prove sickness and then I booked an appointment with my.

32:32.76
wildremedies
He.

32:38.44
Meghan
Gp who's run of the mill very nice, but that's it. Um, and I said can you write me a letter of recovery because I thought like if you have proof that you had it and a letter of recovery that should give you carte blanche for six months apparent like in theory because if you had if you.

32:52.60
wildremedies
Is here.

32:57.82
Meghan
Had a positive test and you were traveling. You didn't you could show a positive test in recovery as opposed to a negative test right? That's what the rule was like it's hard to remember them because they didn't make sense so it's hard to wrap your head around the logic. So.

33:06.44
wildremedies
Yeah I was all just fucking saying yeah.

33:12.81
Meghan
So she did there. She wrote the letter of recovery and then I said and could you write me an exemption and she said well let me read the rules and she's like reading it through and obviously I know that I don't didn't fall into it. Um, and I just said so are you saying that as my primary care practitioner.

33:18.89
wildremedies
F.

33:31.20
Meghan
This medical intervention is indicated for my own health and safety and she couldn't answer. She's like I have to follow the rules and that was kind of the end of the conversation. But what was so funny was we were fully recovered a week later my husband and I go to a restaurant and we pull out our stack of lab work of our natural immunity. All the stuff we had seated at a table right next to our doctor and I was like hi.

33:57.91
wildremedies
No way.

34:06.92
wildremedies
I.

34:09.33
Meghan
It was so perfect that I almost didn't enjoy the outing because I was just sick kept saying to Josh like oh my god I can't believe is have any like this is karma this is the best thing.

34:20.92
wildremedies
How vindicating love that for you? um.

34:23.86
Meghan
Um, yeah.

34:26.90
wildremedies
Oh gosh following the rules. Yeah I know I feel like we need a lot more rule breakers in society. It was such a disappointing part of kind of witnessing what happened over the past few years but I mean on the plus side I think a lot of folks are now waking up and realizing that they may have signed up for something that they didn't necessarily want to and things are shifting. But yeah, yeah, it was wild.

34:56.40
Meghan
Yeah.

35:04.44
wildremedies
It was wild. We've been through a lot of crazy stuff and like I keep forgetting that it happened because I'm the type of person that just like you know I'm an entrepreneur I'm you know, kind of type a and I just push through stuff and.

35:19.38
Meghan
Can.

35:20.90
wildremedies
I'm tough like not a lot of shit phases me and that that was a very very hard period I mean like I was shunned from society like you know there there There was so many things that were difficult and now that were kind of on the other side of it I mean like we've been exposed to just so much corruption and it's just really disillusioning to. Realize what society actually is and it's tough and I think like that's got to be residing in me somewhere and it's going to meet me. Um.

35:45.74
Meghan
I feel I mean I think I have no doubt that's part of the shifts that I've made recently which is that it was interesting because as we talked about before we started recording like I kind of knew from the get go something was off and kepting.

35:53.55
wildremedies
Um, and.

36:01.51
wildremedies
E.

36:04.34
Meghan
So surprised that everyone you know I have like I am a medical freedom advocate and mostly an advocate of informed consent. So everyone needs to get informed and do what's right for them as an individual I'm not of the thinking that this thing is not appropriate for.

36:17.99
wildremedies
A.

36:23.84
Meghan
Anybody there may be people who it is appropriate for I Also know that when you opt out of certain um interventions. Let's call it. There may also be a responsibility that you have to take on to take care of your health as well.

36:26.40
wildremedies
Evening.

36:39.44
wildremedies
Are.

36:42.11
Meghan
Like there's an act of responsibility that's also needed so I don't like I don't sweep at all I don't think anything's all or nothing. Um, even though that's the box I've been put into so whatever on that. But I think that.

36:47.66
wildremedies
Yeah. In me.

36:57.49
Meghan
For me this whole time over the last three years what you know I have a large community I've been building it for 15 years and the whole time I was like ah I don't want to lead through this.

37:12.67
wildremedies
He.

37:13.59
Meghan
Like I feel like people were turning to me. What are you going to do? What do you think about this what I was like oh I don't want to talk about this on Instagram I don't want to talk about this anywhere like can I just like let's make a smoothie like let's do that and I was like that's what I can do let's here's turmeric like make a t. Um, but then I started suffering personally because I was out of alignment with what the calling was and the evolution was and I was just trying to stay in the easiest way to create your own suffering is try and keep things exactly as they are when.

37:40.92
wildremedies
Yeah.

37:50.80
Meghan
Everything around you is changing and evolving and so at that point like I started digging in on Heart math coherence and I did a facilitator training and I was like if I can't wake people up with facts and evidence I'm going to actually wake them up by By. Helping them activate their prefrontal cortex where critical and creative thinking has to happen like let's get to the source because if everyone's in fear they're in the Reptilian brain like they are in the fight flight nothing will come Through. It's all through someone's own. You know rose-colored lens as it is.

38:10.71
wildremedies
Yeah I love that. But.

38:26.76
Meghan
So I started teaching this coherence and I started doing these sort of pop-up workshops on coherence and intuition and and people and they were free. It was just like public service. Let's all I called it wake up Wednesdays then I had a series called wake up and shakeup. Um and the idea was this is something. I can do that I feel comfortable with to help people through whatever it is that they are going through like bring them a moment of calm in the day or turn on that prefrontal cortex so they can start asking questions and then being brave enough to seek out the answers but through these three months three years I'm like ah I don't want to just.

38:58.94
wildremedies
In.

39:04.37
Meghan
Can I just make smoothies like can I just keep this on the surface and again and again it's like I've never kept it on the surface like I've gotten hate mail over the years for talking about crappy mlm um companies like bad cosmetics and nutella and centrum supplements and. Soilent meal replacement and insure and like I've never been like let's just have a smoothie look at all these antioxidants. So why that going to happen now when people's livelihoods and identities are at stake their family relationships. So I kind of to be like ah like I would like feel these things. Bubbling app and like but out it would cam publicly then I'd have the nausea of like what's the response gonna be and slowly it was like the social exfoliation like that which does not serve was just s left off. Um.

39:51.62
wildremedies
He.

39:56.13
Meghan
And that was the process and so when it came around this time to doing the same work I've been doing for 15 years I was like this isn't going to do it for me anymore I don't know what's next, but it's different. Yeah.

40:03.83
wildremedies
Yeah, well I love that and I love that you were brave and I know that feeling I remember my first post about speaking out against the narrative the panic that I felt. Right? Like as human beings we are just so tied and ingrained in the social fabric and being cast out as a black sheep is tied to life and death for us right? So it can feel so terrifying did you talk to your team before speaking out like or.

40:32.35
Meghan
Yeah, so.

40:40.50
wildremedies
Did you just do it.

40:40.86
Meghan
That's a great and interesting question and most of the people on my team were on the same page enough I mean they knew where I stood for sure. Um.

40:49.81
wildremedies
Yeah, yeah.

40:57.56
Meghan
And I just respected everyone's medical privacy like that was it I Still don't know I kind of do but it doesn't matter I know that there were people on my team who got it because they felt like it was the best medical decision for themselves I know that people got it because.

41:01.61
wildremedies
Um, yeah.

41:13.47
wildremedies
See.

41:17.55
Meghan
They felt the social pressure and felt coerced and I know that there are people who were like not over my dead body am I going to do this? Um and there are like I had some difficult conversations with certain team members. I've had people on my team within me for a long time for a short time. Um, but ultimately just like with diet and my approach to everything it was like is you know I respect your decision you respect ours and I am going to do my best not to blow up the company.

41:52.79
wildremedies
Me.

41:54.84
Meghan
Like I'm not going to risk. Everyone's livelihood so there was some tiptoeing and sort of like I got more and more direct as time went on but for a while it was just with the fear and presenting facts to be like you don't have to be afraid if you are a 45 year old person you're you don't like.

42:05.62
wildremedies
Um.

42:11.97
wildremedies
A.

42:14.28
Meghan
You know I used to kind of comment on people who would wear who would bicycle downtown toronto with a mask on and no helmet and it's like let's weigh the risk so I was mindful of my team I was mindful of the reputation of my company I was mindful of the graduates who had invested in my school. So. All of that was in my mind. Um, but at the same time. It was interesting because in 2020 I didn't feel like it was as much of an issue as it was in 21 and 2021 I was kind of more mindful about my language and how I was speaking and. Um, you know trying to not trigger anyone and do all that and then when I went into it in 2022 I was like that it's me you you know what? you're signing up for. We're going all in and we had one person.

43:06.27
Meghan
Request a refund after a post I'd written with the hashtag trudeau must go um, claiming that I was making this v issue political and I was like oh if only I had the power to be the one who was making this a political issue like amen. And that I'd love to hold that power in my hands but it's not me. It turns out this person worked for Public Health Ontario as a quarantine officer and I'm like how did she get this far and normally like normally when a student asks for a withdrawal I ah call.

43:34.80
wildremedies
Ah, oh those? no.

43:45.10
Meghan
Um, like not like out of the blue like why are you quitting but more like is there anything we can do and and this person and it was interesting because you know not and not again, not everyone on my team is fully aligned and I chatter with with someone about it. She's like I don't think this is worth your time. It's not going to get anywhere I'm like it's definitely not going to get anywhere if anything it's going to just aggravate me more.

43:46.33
wildremedies
Um, yeah.

44:04.71
Meghan
I was like all in give her her full refund. It's not the right community. It's not the right fit and it wasn't even because that was her job and that's what she believed. It's that if you cannot have an adult constructive conversation with differing opinions. That's who doesn't fit in the community.

44:08.55
wildremedies
Yes.

44:24.33
Meghan
I Don't care what your decisions are what your choices are how anyone chooses to live but let's share our experience and from there we can be grownups so and that I had the same attitude with my team. You know if there was ever a conflict or an issue and basically I said the same thing.

44:34.21
wildremedies
You.

44:43.46
Meghan
Like the same rules applied to me is to them is like you can post and share whatever you want as long as it doesn't impact the company and once it starts impacting the company I I get involved. So if you're going to have a public profile or have our customers or clients or students. Follow you.

44:49.93
wildremedies
He he he.

45:01.64
Meghan
Then you are representing you know and people have on their Twitter like opinions are like Ceo of blah blah blah opinions are my own. No, they're not. They're not a public profile and you represent you represent the company you work for like that's a fact. So.

45:10.19
wildremedies
Um, yeah, yeah.

45:16.79
wildremedies
And yep.

45:21.13
Meghan
It's like I whenever I hire someone? Um I'd always look at their social media profiles because we're ultimately a health company. So if they have pictures of them like doing tequila shots on top of a bar. It doesn't bode well for the values and the core values of what we do and.

45:28.10
wildremedies
Um.

45:35.53
wildremedies
Um, yeah, totally yeah yeah, and as advocates of natural health and I think so many of us that have gone in this direction are doing it because.

45:37.38
Meghan
So same rules imply across the board. You know.

45:51.84
wildremedies
We've had really bad experiences with allopathic medicine in some way, right? like my story is that you know I was on a prescription medications by the time I was like 23 years old you know and I'm actually a little bit curious so you mentioned that you had some vaccines to travel a while back and you ended up with autoimmune what what happened there.

46:16.80
Meghan
I I mean again, nothing's all or nothing did the vaccines cause the autoimmune it'd be a hard thing to prove were they a contributing factor to what ended up happening most likely I had just graduated from University I'd spent the summer training for.

46:24.44
wildremedies
And.

46:35.50
Meghan
Ah, beautiful fundraiser. It's the friends for life bike rally? so we biked from Toronto to Montreal for that entire summer I basically lived on like gatorade and power gel and you know all the all the sugary things that build a.

46:39.12
wildremedies
Cool.

46:51.42
Meghan
Completely imbalanced microbiome so already my immune system's compromised. Um I'm sensitive to environmental triggers like so those things were there and then to go travel in Mozambique Swaziland South Africa senegal I don't remember which country required which vaccines but I ended up getting.

47:10.11
wildremedies
A.

47:10.45
Meghan
5 in a day so I already have compromise like I'd had signs and symptoms like a little bit of izema and like ibs type you know I had irritable bowel like so I had stuff going on and then got. 5 vaccines in a day which should never really happen like that's so suddenly your body's mounting an immune response to 5 different, very harmful viruses or infections.

47:28.98
wildremedies
Yeah.

47:38.48
wildremedies
I can't believe they even allow that because I've I've had a similar experience I think it was before I went to South America and I had I don't know if it was it was a shit ton of vaccines in one day and because I was in my twenty s I went out and partied and got shitfaced and I woke up the next day and I was covered.

47:48.58
Meghan
Yeah.

47:57.97
wildremedies
Head to to like I was rash everywhere and then was like oh yeah, maybe I shouldn't have done that like didn't even think about it but because an authority medical figure was like oh no, this is fine I was like okay this is fine I mean obviously they all didn't help it like fuck like 5 vaccines like that's that's insane.

47:58.16
Meghan
Yeah, yeah.

48:08.15
Meghan
Yeah, yeah. Yeah, and I and I was like at the time I'm like I got I got month a week later I got really sick like I got a horrible fever like shakes the whole the whole situation and at the time like I didn't know anything about it because no one you don't go into it questioning it. You go into it because you believe it's the right thing and you trust it fully. But at the time all I could think was like I'm a little person like I'm five feet tall the time probably around 110 pounds um I was like even if like does that have an impact like I'm a smaller person than say a six foot

48:32.93
wildremedies
In.

48:51.65
Meghan
For two hundred and fifty pound guy going in and getting that same dosage to run through the bloodstream. Maybe it doesn't make a difference but so at the time that's what I was thinking and then I went to Africa and you know had symptoms on and off of various things and then I came back and like. Was bleeding out of my butt and going to like tropical disease specialists and going to gastro like going to all of these specialists and ultimately was diagnosed with depression I was like but how does that explain why I'm having explosive bloody diarrhea. So.

49:11.70
wildremedies
For a while.

49:28.29
Meghan
That was kind of the journey to my great awakening being like okay so I've been through nineteen doctors and no one has been able to give me an answer I've been prescribed all kinds of medication which I never took because.

49:30.97
wildremedies
And.

49:44.32
Meghan
And never one the last one of the last medications I was prescribed which has since been Recalled. Um, which was supposed to help stop the lower intestinal bleeding when I went to the pharmacy. The pharmacist said you know what are you getting this for and I explained. And he said well it can cause gastric bleeding. So It's probably not the best solution if you're trying to stop bleeding in your Gi tract and so I was like okay thank you for that I will not take it I'll go back to the doctor and figure this out and so.

50:10.32
wildremedies
Um, yeah.

50:19.10
Meghan
That was the process and so ultimately I realized that I needed to take this on myself and that was what opened the door for learning about Chinese Medicine Yoga meditation and ultimately discovering that room in my apartment called the kitchen and learning how to cook and so I.

50:23.31
wildremedies
He.

50:36.20
wildremedies
In.

50:39.23
Meghan
And this time healing my body and my mind and my spirit and recognizing that it wasn't just that I managed to eliminate these symptoms. Well the the final doctor I did get the diagnosis of the autoimmune disease which kind of helped guide me on how to heal this? um. And so I did and then it wasn't actually until a couple years later when I went to see a nutritionist myself. Um because you know once you get start getting well, it's like it can how good can I feel like how great can I feel. Went to the nutriitionious and we did my full timeline from birth till that point in time and he looked at it and he said so was that trip to Africa worth it because it was so clear what symptoms started after I'd gotten those inoculations and at that point sitting in his office I absolutely like this got me onto the right path.

51:25.52
wildremedies
Um.

51:32.30
wildremedies
Are the.

51:33.96
Meghan
So I'll take that as a gift. It's unfortunate that it had to be so stressful and painful and scary for everyone for my parents like you know to have a child who's unwell, Um, but it it gave me a very solid footing to stand firm. And unpopular beliefs.

51:54.99
wildremedies
Um, yeah, it's funny how some of these difficult eras. Not even a moment. It's like a era in our lives are preparing us for something bigger. You know.

52:07.76
Meghan
M.

52:10.62
wildremedies
Well that is incredibly inspiring and so healing this you really focused a lot on on nutrition I mean you mentioned herbs and things like that as well.

52:21.18
Meghan
Yeah I went on a pretty strict Gluten Freee Dairy-free diet, no refined sugar and I've stuck to it I have a little bit of cheese now and again, but I've been gluten free and I will be forever. Why not? It's not hard to do.

52:25.65
wildremedies
He.

52:32.18
wildremedies
Um, yeah, and had.

52:40.60
wildremedies
Yeah I agree.

52:40.28
Meghan
Um, and yeah and then it was also like the thing is it's never just diet. It's never just a pill. You take no matter what the pill is it is kind of reevaluating how I operate in the world and my mind and my spiritual connection and my connection with nature and.

52:46.24
wildremedies
You.

52:58.94
Meghan
Ah, connection with myself. Um, that's all part of healing like with any autoimmune disease There's multiple contributing factors. It's never just 1 thing with any disease. It's rarely ever just 1 thing even though we'd like to blame it on 1 thing or think it's 1 thing that if we just do and if if it. 1 thing that's causing it then I only have to do 1 thing to heal it and it's never it's never that simple.

53:22.26
wildremedies
Yep, are like that you mentioned nature and it seems like the more disconnected we are from nature the more dysregulated we get and I love that you garden so much.

53:32.00
Meghan
Who.

53:38.19
wildremedies
And you're doing it indoors too which is really cool.

53:40.14
Meghan
Ah, yeah I do it I start? Yes I grow salad through the winter. Um, and then I've like I literally have planted enough seedlings for like an actual farm instead of my downtown toronto backyard.

53:43.98
wildremedies
Cool.

wildremedies
Ah.

54:11.13
Meghan
I don't think I'm like the animal husbandry in our family. So I either convince my 6 year old to manage the chickens or my husband to manage the chickens but you can have 4 chickens in a downtown toronto backyard. So.

54:14.12
wildremedies
In.

54:19.46
wildremedies
Um, ah, cool that would be amazing well and with this transition like do you feel I know for a lot of people right now especially in the wellness community like a lot of folks are being called to be immersed in nature more and Like. Maybe start living on land those types of things like are you are you feeling that call at all or yeah, ok.

54:42.79
Meghan
Yeah I've been looking for land for 10 years. Um, we actually moved to a larger house in 2021 because I'm like we're going to spending a lot of time here. Let's make it comfortable. My husband was paying for clinic space downtown I was like no one's coming. So.

54:51.88
wildremedies
Means.

54:59.57
Meghan
You know why pay rent. Um, so we did move and I still kind of have one eye out to the countryside. Um, but I also appreciate like we live in a beautiful neighborhood. We you know we aligned or not we have amazing neighbors. Um, we have wonderful friends. Our.

wildremedies
Step.

55:18.54
Meghan
Both of our parents are still alive and living in Toronto. Um I love walking to sort of the main strip to get all our groceries to go to the farmer's market like we walk and bike everywhere and for me that's. You know huge quality of life factor that while I have a six year old it's really nice till on Sundays we biked his gymnatics class and we've summer to do his piano like so there's there's those things that I love about living right in the city. Um, but we won't be here forever.

55:37.77
wildremedies
A.

55:47.63
wildremedies
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm I'm just seeing so much of that now where people are just like oh I Just ah, want to be able to live more holistic and to me that's merging back with nature but I love that you're still doing that even though you're in the City. What are some tips for like growing growing indoors. Do you have like all the lights and stuff for like how how are you doing it.

56:07.68
Meghan
Yeah I I mean I have been a plant Killer I thought I was a plant Killer Um, and I just started like I had these rolling racks from when I used to run a cooking school and had like you know inventory that I sold so I just.

56:11.25
wildremedies
Okay.

56:22.18
Meghan
I Got like the full spectrum lights that just hang under the shelf and that's all you need I like I put like my little seedling trays I think the first time I did it was just in paper um like toilet paper rolls I used and I put them on a cookie sheet filled them with.

56:24.25
wildremedies
Here. Awesome.

56:35.75
wildremedies
Here are yeah.

56:38.46
Meghan
Boil and put seeds in like it was so simple and straightforward now I'll buy like those hemp mats and I put that on a stainless steel cooking sheet and just sprinkle my seeds in to grow microgreens and sprouts. Um I do lettuce and soil and it's just nice to get fresh food like.

56:53.58
wildremedies
It is.

56:55.72
Meghan
My my team we do um like a check-in question every morning and today it was like what's something you've made recently that has inspired you I'm like nothing because I am so sick of winter food like you know like let's bring on the good stuff already like it's time. So um, but you know you don't need a lot of space. And I think it's so important to grow something like grow some basil grow like even if you have just ah, a front stoop or you might be surprised if you live on a street and someone else has room in their yard if you're like could I just put a container here to grow herbs and you can have some and I can have some. Um, this summer we're doing in our front of our our house we have like this area that used to just grow like decorative grasses. So I've pulled them all out and we're going to make a little community garden there and kind of put like 1 of everything like a tomato plant and a pepper plant and some kale and beans and peas and so like the children can just help themselves. Um.

57:44.36
wildremedies
And then.

57:54.70
Meghan
Just to like it. It creates connection to to have that going on in your community.

57:56.67
wildremedies
It does Ah I love that? Yeah I think that's a really great tip like if you can just plant any like just plant something. You know there was so much healing in that and I feel you I was just ah I get so over winter food too and I was just.

58:05.45
Meghan
You know.

58:13.78
wildremedies
I Love foraging and so it's just like waiting for nettle and dandelion I was like please please Hurry Hurry I need this in my life are are you big on eating with seasons at all.

58:18.53
Meghan
Yeah.

58:25.70
Meghan
I do through um, like spring summer and fall for sure winter it all kind of I hate squashes I do not like winter squash and I don't like stupid potatoes and beets. Yeah, so.

58:31.88
wildremedies
Um, it's hard. You get just sick I I I hate root Veg I'm not a big root veg person I'm the potato. Yeah.

58:43.12
Meghan
Winter I mean I just don't eat a lot of variety in the winter I'm not like buying asparagus in January um, so in the summer and then we buy direct from farmers to buy like flats of strawberries tons of wild blueberries. We actually got a membership to the ontario food terminal. So that when things are in season we can go and buy lots of it and preserve it so that's kind of how we manage.

59:07.86
wildremedies
Cool I Love that Well we're at the end of our time already I feel like we covered so many different things I didn't think the conversation was gonna go this way but I love it. It was so good. Thank you? so.

59:19.78
Meghan
Yes, thank you Thanks for having me.

59:27.50
wildremedies
I Mean you're not quite sure. What's next, but like people that want to connect with you or like I don't know like what what's going on like what are you feeling into if people are interested in connecting with you. How can they do that. What are you currently offering.

59:44.20
Meghan
I offer lots always so the best thing is to get on my mailing list at Meghan Talpner Dot Com because you'll hear everything from there. Um, all my courses are still available at Culinarynutrition.com we're just currently working on how to offer our flagship program. But where we're most active right now is in a membership site I started which remains free I it'll be free for a while. Um and you can find out more enjoying at cullinarynutrition.com/theclubhouse and in there we just have different experts doing live workshops live online workshops. We have a book club. Um.

01:00:10.14
wildremedies
C.

01:00:18.71
Meghan
Where we actually have the author joining us for the meeting we have elixir chats and it's really a place because I don't want to give a lot of my time and energy to the Meta platform. So it was a place for others who've jumped ship to still be able to post and share and connect online like it's still a beautiful. Um. Miracle that we can find like minded people so easily and so I just want to create a place that was you know wild and free to do that. So that's what the clubhouse is.

01:00:45.83
wildremedies
I Love that. That's so smart. Yeah, it is really challenging having to deal with these platforms to grow your business that just feels so limiting and are full of censorship. It's frustrating but we have podcasts which so far.

01:01:01.52
Meghan
Yeah, we have lots of ways. Yeah, um.

01:01:05.18
wildremedies
Yeah, so far seem to be untouched. We'll see what happens with all this bill c eleven bullshit here in Canada but we shall see well thank you so much for spending time with me today. This was like.

01:01:17.23
Meghan
Thank you, Thank you.

01:01:22.53
wildremedies
Conversation that I needed to have do you have 1 last tip. Maybe for anybody that has been really going through it through this scorpio portal like if you have 1 tip for anybody that is just kind of like waiting through the muck right now. What? what would that be.

01:01:38.52
Meghan
It's the worst. It's the worst tip ever. But it's just to trust in the process and I think it can be helpful to kind of take notes day to day I don't want to say Journal because that kind of feels like a lot.

01:01:42.40
wildremedies
Now.

01:01:52.98
Meghan
Like I'm not a Journaler I'm like let's just do it I don't need to write about it. But just little note on how you're feeling or what your challenge is because it's just kind of nice to recognize that you are making progress through the process but think of it as a tunnel.

01:02:06.59
wildremedies
And.

01:02:11.30
Meghan
And if it's still dark. You're still in it. But the light's coming and it's and often it's a choice to see it as soon as you want to.

01:02:12.70
wildremedies
Yeah.

01:02:17.40
wildremedies
Yeah, absolutely there's always light on the other side.
